These codes are for accounts billed in the United States. Netflix matches the code to your account's billing country rather than your location, so an account created outside the US will reject a US code. You can check the billing country under Account, then Membership and Billing.

The range here runs from $15 to $100, wider than most Netflix regions. Smaller values suit gifting; the larger ones are usually bought to prepay a household subscription for most of a year and remove the monthly card charge entirely.

To redeem: go to netflix.com/redeem while signed in and enter the code. The balance appears immediately, and the same page shows the remaining credit and roughly how long it will last on your current plan.
