An Xbox gift card adds credit to the Microsoft account balance attached to your Xbox profile. That balance covers games and add-ons from the Microsoft Store, Game Pass subscriptions, and anything else Microsoft bills to the account.
These codes are issued for Saudi Arabia and priced in riyals. Microsoft matches the code to the country on your account, so a Saudi code needs an account with its region set to Saudi Arabia. Unlike PlayStation, Microsoft does allow the account country to be changed, but doing so requires spending the existing balance to zero first — Microsoft will not carry credit across regions.
Credit on the account is a reliable way to keep a Game Pass subscription running, since a renewal funded from balance cannot fail because a bank declined the charge.
To redeem: on an Xbox console open the Store and select Redeem Code, or go to redeem.microsoft.com while signed in and enter the twenty-five-character code. The balance is applied immediately.
